Baseless assertions. How do Jehovah's Witnesses preach a gospel different than the apostles? How have Jehovah's Witnesses come as Messiahs? More than anything else, what I want to know is how and where have Jehovah's Witnesses changed the Bible? It goes without saying that you won't be able to answer these questions. You simply posit vicious rumors and dangerous lies.

The bible condemns Christian religions that teach, Wait!
by Crazyguy inknow where in the bible will you find christian religions being condemned for teaching the trinity or hell fire doctrines, but you will find jesus condemning those that come as messiah's or christs (both mean anointed) and declaring 'the time is near'.
you will also find paul cursing anyone that preaches a gospel different then the apostles preached as well as cursing those that change or add to the bible.
oh darn jw's thats you, you fit the bill in all of these!!!!!!

Brother Knorr was a good brother. I miss him, but I'm sure I'll benefit from his direction in the near future. Just think we rubbed elbows with men that would soon be with Christ in the heavens. It's amazing!

Do You Think Many Engaged JW Couples Fooled Around B4 Marriage?
by minimus inwhen i was an elder, i had a few couples approach me to confess that they either played around or went all the way.. i suspect there were many more that did not admit to it, though..

While I'm sure such things have happened, it's probably not to the same extent as those in the world that get involved with hanky panky. The suggestions we've recieved admonishing young couples to have a chaperone present when courting has prevented many young couples from engaging in immoral behavior thus setting their relationship off on the right foot.

Tornapart, again, and hopefully this answers Jhine who I find to be quite bothersome, but again what you pasted was not a commandment, it was a warning, or a very strong suggestion, but NOT a commandment!!
Data-Dog, I didn't copy and paste anything, you just didn't like the answer.
Fink, the reason why I come here is because admittedly I share some of the same grievances held by a minority of posters here. I'm not quite ready to divulge what those might be, maybe sometime in the future.
Jgnat, I took note of the low retention rate of our faith, but I have to question even if it's true that something like 2/3 of those born into the Christian congregation end up leaving at some point, how many end up coming back?

Jgnat, I think it's interesting how diversified Jehovah's Witnesses are in America, according to that Pew survey you linked. Women constitute 60% of our brotherhood, Latinos at 24%, and blacks at 22%. There's likely no other organized faith with as much diversity as Jehovah's Witnesses. Name another group of people with a variety of backgrounds that can come together with peace and unity dedicated to righteous principles? Reminds me of Rev 7:9.

Thanks for the links Jgnat, I'll check it out. It's probably some nonsense, but to be fair I'll give it a look.
